Our
Mission Statement
Our mission is simple and to the point, and that is to
propel the Mid-West music scene into the forefront of the industry. The VIP staff realizes that this is a bold statement
to make, but we are up for the challenge. We're looking to discover, develop, and promote Chicago talent like never
before.
What does being a VIP Artist mean?
If you’re really serious about making it
in the music industry, and if you have the talent…then VIP can help you. The label is comprised of professionals that
are dedicated to insuring your success as an artist. By having dedicated individuals on the label provides you (the
artist) with simple, straight to the point,
professional advice...along with the contacts you will essentially need.
All artists under contract with VIP sign an exclusive recording artist agreement. For their
part, the artist must provide two (2) albums consisting of at least
twelve to fourteen songs. The reason we
ask for this is so that if a deal is being shopped for an artist it will give us more of a catalog to select from.
Specifics,
such as songwriting and music composition, are handled on an individual basis.
